Yes, it is true.  “I‘ve decided to run for the open seat on the Oxnard City Council.”  I need your help and support.

As you know, this is an exciting time in Oxnard.  The community is growing and thriving.  My experience on the school board providing educational opportunities for our youth, planning commission, in service organizations, raising funds for scholarships for our youth, past participation in cultural sensitivity training with our police department, and serving the community as a community leader will help me as a councilmember.  My leadership skills as an educational and community leader, businesswoman, wife, mother and grandmother afford me a unique opportunity to affectively lead our community as a councilmember with experience that will make a difference.

This general election will require extensive mailings.  Funding will be the key to an effective campaign for council.  A donation of any amount would be greatly appreciated..  Other areas of assistance are also available.  Do not hesitate to contact me by email, ipinkard@gmail.com or through my website if you would like to help..
